#3 - Thoughts

Art always has had a special part in my life. It’s kinda my way to express my thoughts and feelings when I don’t know anyway how to process them or put them into words. It feels easy, it feels right, it feels true.

I used to draw and paint for my friends and family. I’m quite shy when it comes to my art because of how intimate it can get. It’s felt a little bit odd when I show a scene that I lived or imaged because of how vivid the feeling is, still years after for some.

When I paint, I use my emotions, my life, my thoughts and my struggles as well. I feel like, if I can speak to one person, it’s incredible. If we see the bigger picture, we all have the same process, the same demons. And so art was not only used to immortalise and document history, it also gives us a spectrum of human behavior and process. I feel like everything is the same. We all thing we’re alone in our own situation but it fact we’re millions having the same thought. That’s insane when you think about, but that’s also what make me think that I’ve felt and lived those things someone else did as well. Sharing art is my way to express it. We all have our own process and the fact that someone recognize himself through some artwork is the most exhilarating feeling.

As clear as my mind gets when I paint, it can get numb and hypnotized by art. I always ask myself how can I get people to see what I do? What do they really think about it? Did it spoke to them? Those questions became muted I start to stop overthink. Everything can’t be appreciated by everyone and in the society where we live we tend to overflow with everything (Art, performance, information in general… etc.) I sincerely thing that everything pays off, every single task and hard work that we putt in our situation. The overthinking doesn’t help but a crude analyse of the situation does. Stay realist even though it’s your imagination that helps through situations. Keep thinking outside the box and stay flexible but most of all never STOP.
